Hello I know I had a few mishaps in the last several months due to stress and all and ate things I am not suppose too.
I am wondering what I can use to clean myself out and any pointers to go and what will work for me, I am very sick right now and don't have an appeitie or feeling so much bloated and backed up, other then tea, water, fruits and veggies and whole grains what else should I eat to get my system to normal?

My husband is getting me some good belly qaurt cartons tommrow , to help me with probotic, I have not started the pills form but, rather I like the juice.

Good Are you exercising at all? If you're able to, I would recommend it. Even just taking a walk will help.

I am so messed up , I have to take little steps, my husband got me some jillian michaels DVD's for beginners and I thought we were moving into a house, i would've had a bigger space to do it now we can't .
I might check into things when spring comes.

I hope you feel better soon. Keep eating a healthy diet and take the probiotics, and I'm sure you'll notice a difference. Also, get plenty of sleep.

Thanks, I am hoping my husband will get a good nights rest also hes been coughing because of a blood pressure pill. I want him to look for natural ways to lower his blood pressure.

Honestly the fruits/veggies/whole grains IMO is the way to go... that combined with cutting all the bad crap out of your diet (added oils, dairy and processed foods).

And I second the recommendation to just get some walks in when you have the stength. Even if they're not for very long. Getting your body moving will help you feel good.

Thanks I have complied a 6 page list of products to get myself for my pantry, fridge and freezer and ETC. I am doing mostly whole grains and oats and salads and fruits and veggies and water and moving around , I am starting in the house first for a few weeks and then when it gets warmer out i'll do outside walks.

What about cleaning out all the meat and meat products from your house? This way those things wouldn't be there for you to reach for when things get rough. It sounds like you slip back into meat eating as a way of coping when things get rough or you get stressed. Eliminating the accessibility of those things might be really helpful.

Whenever I binge out on baddies or just feel ill, I fast. I know its controversial, but it gets me going when I'm down. Depending on what's going on, I'll fruit fast or brown rice fast. When I'm sick I do brown rice, when I've eaten junk I do fruit, and only 2-3 days at a time.

How come I love reading other people's witty signatures, but can never seem to make an awesome one for myself?! Life is hilariously cruel.

Thanks after several servings of apple slices, some lettuce and juices and some coffee and whole grains and oats I am almost cleaned out, since my husband still eat the animal products, I can't fully purge but, he don't have a problem of getting stuff for me, we are going to have spahgetti with garlic bread tonight for supper might throw in yvews crumbles. I get the 10 dollar four pack and I can space out the meals better with that. I am also going to get some natural vitamin sources to help me continue my path to peaceful eating. I don't crave animal products the only two I still dominate is natural butter ( tried earth balance I got sick on it), Organic yogurt, I get the non dairy ice creams now.
Before we moved out to where we are at now, I lived in the country and there was only limited among of Veg friendly foods, it was not like 5 mins from the house like it is now , so we live near a krogers store, plus down the road from my home at the corner there is a fruit and veggie market, I remember I can get in bulk dried beans there . I should have hubby take me there today and see if I can get some.

I gave up Ice cream because my husband took me to baskin robbins last friday because we tried noodles and company for the first time, their spices are at first was major spicy but not bad but, my mouth was feeling like flames, so I asked him to take me there to get me a cone, the next day I felt very sick I always done that. I used to be allergic to cows milk my mom said when I was a baby , I was put on special milk as a small child or not sure what she meant and I had problems digestin milk products, I was luckly to be able to have some ice cream, cheeses and in that nature but, as I age again I am having issues. I eat my cereal dry in the morning I can't stand wet cereal, cherries, Puffins and other dry cereals in that nature.
Next time we order a pizza I am going to try a cheeseless one with veggies on it, so anyhow , I am slowly recovering.

Just my 2 cents but if you are going to eat pasta go for the whole grain stuff. Ditto on the garlic bread (or avoid it altogether). White flour is my bane. Also I'm not sure how garlic bread would be without the margarine/butter on it... which is also something IMO to avoid like the plague especially if you are trying to lose some weight.

I'm not a big fan of it either... which is why I rarely eat the stuff. But if PVL is looking to lose weight and get healthier I'd avoid the processed grain in normal pasta.

I am ok with garlic bread, if its by the bakery we got two loaves , however we do have our own bread maker that makes better breads, I should find a space here and start using it but, I rather wait until we see other rentals , we need a better kitchen some how. I get the whole grain stuff and been, I like whole wheat pasta. Sometimes I don't have a choice but have the regular pastas but, again its step in the right direction with the whole grain stuff, I even got whole grain hamburger buns for my husband and I for sandwhiches.
Oh my husband is going to take me to that veggie and fruit market down the road to look around and get stuff. So we will be getting more produce today and probley the beans.

The Key thing is moderation, I cook our pastas in a skillet , my husband said it fills him up with one bowl , something with the skillet version of pasta fills us up.

I would agree the key is moderation if one has met one's health and weight goals. If you are diabetic or even pre diabetic (I don't know if you are) I'd never eat processed stuff again... ever. I feel completely crappy whenever whenever I eat anything with white flour in it.

No i don't have diabeties , but my moms whole side has history of diabties and she developed diabeties while pregnant with me, i don't get majority of the processed stuff because the HFCS is in it, Last week i had some of the hostess cakes and stuff but again I have not had those for several years, so I was in mood for them, which I will not get again. The only white rice I get is jasmine rice because I like the strong aroma with Jasmine rice but, I am trying all sorts of rices.

Let me amend my admonition to include if I needed to lose weight and I had a family history of diabetes I'd steer clear of any processed grains including white flour and rice and probably never eat them again. I'd also severely curtail my sugar intake. Zero processed sugar, HFCS etc. and while I'd still eat fruit it would only be one, maybe two servings per day.
