When she was just three, Genesis Butler became a vegetarian and then adopted a plant-based diet just a year later. Ever since, Butler has been a strong advocate for a vegan lifestyle, even maintaining a Facebook page aptly titled, A Vegan Child's Journey. This young activist won the Young Vegan of the Year Award from Vegansarecool.com. And now she can add another accomplishment to her ever-growing resume: the ten-year-old just gave a TEDx talk about the link between what we eat and climate change.

As one of the youngest TEDx speakers in history, the passionate superstar activist laid down some serious facts about the how animal agriculture industry is at the heart of our current environmental crisis.
