I searched vb, but could'nt find anything. I bought a bottle a flax oil about 6 months ago, give or take and used it 1-2 times then slacked off. My question is is it any good? I wouldn't think so, but wanted to check before I threw it out..

It's pretty delicate stuff. Have you opened it and smelled it? Flax seeds go rancid quickly and the smell makes it very obvious when it's time to toss it.

The brand I normally use is only good for a couple of months once it's opened, so my guess is that yours is no good anymore. But as suggested, try to open it and smell it.

Keeping flax oil in the fridge or freezer will extend it's shelf life considerably, but if it's been open on the counter for 6 months, I'd probably replace it. But give it a sniff.
