Hi everyone! I haven't posted anything in a loooong time, so here I am again

I recently ate at the Olive Garden and had cheeseless pizza with veggies on it. I heard from someone afterward (who is also vegan) that the pizza dough has milk in it and that, actually, NONE of their food is vegan! Please tell me it isn't so!

The foods I particularly want to know about are the bread sticks (dry - not with the butter/garlic stuff on top), the marinara sauce, and of course the pizza dough.

Thanks for helping!

I don't think any of their stuff is vegan, or at least they won't say it's vegan because suppliers in different areas have different ingredients(darn "natural flavors" )

sorry. I remember contacting them a long time ago....maybe things have changed?

try chevy's fresh mex. the rice, salsa and black beans are vegan and so are the veggie fajitas and the veggie burrito (hold the cheese and sour cream)

I know Uno's pizzas have cheese in the crust. I actually had a very knowledgable waitress once. I tipped her $10. :P

right on. any waitperson who knows what a vegan is or cares when I tell them I am one automatically gets $10 from me.

i was just wondering about this place 'cause i want to take my little sister and her boyfriend to dinner and they want to go there. so no vegan options? anything, doesn't necessarily have to be a full meal. i really want to take them. thanks.

I think the only vegan thing I can think of is their bean soup, but forget the name. Fava or something.

I dig their eggplant though. I guess you could order it without the cheese.

I haven't asked in quite some time, but the last communique I received from the OG said that the only thing guaranteed vegan was a plain salad. There were many "may or may not contain" sort of items. Definitely not a place I would choose to spend my $.

the marinara sauce has beef flavor in it. just FYI.

Buenosayres: plain salad probably... call ahead, ask the manager if it would be possible to have extra raw veggies on your salad. otherwise you'll end up with lettuce and dressing.

I hate OG. and applebees. would one menu item that can be ordered without cheese and still be appetizing be to much too ask?

Don't lump olive garden (horrible for veg*ns) and applebees (one my favorite restaurants) in the same group!
