Does anyone know of a brand of vegan spread that tastes and has the consistancy of Miracle Whip?

I never ate much of that stuff, but I do eat a lot of Veganese and I am told it is very similar to Miracle Whip and the like.

Nasoya Nayonaise has more of that "artificial" miracle whip thing going for it. Veganaise is a bit closer to real mayo.

With that said, I prefer the homemade kinds. Extra vinegar

I just got some Nayonaise and it does taste like Miracle Whip. Good to know about Veganese. I was never a Miracle Whip fan.

I don't think I ever had miracle whip... what does it taste like? As for me, I use spectrum vegan mayo... only kind I've ever used, and we love it. Tastes just like regular mayo.

Miracle whip is sweeter and tangier than mayo. Some people find it has a chemical taste as well.

I find that the Spectrum Vegan Mayo tastes more like Miracle whip than mayo.

I love Miracle Whip... so I prefer Nayonaise also. Never heard of Spectrum. But I buy Vegenaise more often because it's usually on sale.

Weird... maybe I was eating Miracle Whip all those years thinking it was Mayo! No telling what my parents bought when I was growing up.

Rie! Don't feel bad.....my parents bought Miracle Whip too, and I always thought that was mayo until I was 17 and my boyfriend introduced me to Hellmans Real Mayo or whatever it was called. Oh man, was that an eye opening experience! I also learned that Tang wasn't really orange juice.

it tastes like regular mayo with a half ton of sugar added in.

I joke. It's more like a full ton.

Another vote for Nayonaise as a Miracle Whippy tastealike. (I love getting creative with words.)

I grew up on Hellmans Real Mayo, and Vegenaise is the closest thing to it I've found. I <3 Vegenaise. VLT, anyone? (Vegan bacon, lettuce, and tomato with Vegenaise on toast.)

We see the world as "we" are, not as "it" is; because it is the "I" behind the "eye" that does the seeing.

It's funny. I used to love Miracle Whip and hate mayonnaise. Now that I'm vegan, I love Vegenaise, which taste more like regular mayonnaise, and I don't like Nasoya Nayonaise nearly as much (although it's acceptable). If anyone is interested there is a recipe in the "Simply Heavenly" cookbook called Miraculous Whip that claims to taste just like Miracle Whip. I can't vouch for this particular recipe, because I've never tried it. However, mostly everything else that I've made out of this cookbook has been fantastic. The worst recipe that I ever made from it was just okay, and that was just one recipe. I'll post the Miraculous Whip recipe if anyone wants it.

Speaking of this veganase ( which i have yet to try )... i used to be a bacon fan. Ive tried the morning star stuff... it blows.

Anyone know some good fakon? I loved blts ( though all of that fat since id use half a package of bacon per sandwich would leave me kinda tired and i had to have a nap or chill out for 30 min ) Heh. reminds me of people trying to finish a bic mac and taking a break halfway through it. Lol

I think the Veganaise origional has more of a Miracle Whip flavor, the Organic Veganaise has a real mayo flavor.....but the best is the grapeseed Veganaise.....mmmmmmm-mmm

I use Smart Bacon, I think it's by Yves? I think it's great! There's also a tempeh bacon that I had at Missleigh's house, but I don't know the brand...
