I see this ad every time I drive by Arby's and it just makes me angry each and every time I see it (which is almost every day)-

Google their food for this thread and behold! Is this even food? Looks D-I-S-G-U-S-T-I-N-G! I just don't think you could pay me enough to touch, let alone eat something like this abomination:

Did they cram every creature on the farm on there? NASTY!

Even as an omnivore I could never understand why anyone would want to eat such things..

Nothing tastes as good as compassion feels.

Me either. This type of food is gross, I mean after they eat it doesn't it just feel awful and make their stomach turn? I know it would with me.

That poor potato. The guy that ate this was proud it contained obscene amounts of brisket, turkey, cheese, bbq sauce, sour cream and ranch.

Why is the suffering and killing of animals wrong? Because the value of a sentient organism's life is priceless. They are their own beings and have their own lives and loves. They have higher emotions and thought processes. Their minds are different from ours in degree, not kind - meaning that fundamentally there are critical similarities.

KyRaizor, that's a POTATO? I never ever would have been able to guess that.

KyRaizor I only just read the comment below your pic - I thought that was a burger or something, not a potato...

You can't even see the potato, blergh.

And that burger... It's sad seeing the advert underneath, as well-!

"Bacon Turtle"

This was a suggested post on my FB yesterday: why? I haven't liked a single page with or about meat on it!

I must confess that avoiding animal cruelty was not my first reason to become a vegan, but when I see these kind of pictures I am so glad I did it!

So: vegan = energy + health + ideal weight + avoiding animal cruelty. This is a great formula, IMO!

LOL I used to love taco pizza. It didnt love me back though. I also loved mac and cheese pizza, which I can see myself veganizing one of these days.

And for those of us who are trypophobic, that crust is also visually quite terrible! No need to even ingest it to start shutting down.

Was that crust supposed to look just like big toes? eeeewww....

The first picture appealed to me with a few changes. I made a taco pizza using Beyond meat fiesty beef; refried beans mixed with salsa spread on the crust, the fiesty beef, red peppers, onions, black olives and a light sprinkle of Daiya mozzerella. We loved it!

the "all american" burger. cheeseburger with hotdog and potato chips in it (prob served with fries and soda). it really repulses me that many people are probably watching that commercial and being like "yeah!! america!! eating this is patriotic and manly!!!!!"

ok, not gonna lie, I enjoy veggie burgers and grilled veggie dogs.

I plan on having some flame cooked yves good dogs on 4th of july with some bush's vegetarian baked beans, lay's potato chips, and a hunk of watermelon! I'm hardly a gourmand over here. I love old fashioned home-style food.

what grosses me out about "normal" hot dogs is that they are full of dead animal parts.

k- I am being really gross now- but what really gives me the heebie jeebies, even when I was an omni, was mixed meat dishes, or meat and cheese together dishes.

bacon-cheese-burger (3 different animal products on a bun! 2 different animals! Yuck)

meat lovers pizza (cheese,pork,beef,chicken...all at the same time)

or those subway sandwiches with like 3 types of meat, cheese, and a dairy based dressing.

Just gross. Seriously. Do you have to eat the whole barnyard right now?! In one meal? cant space it out a little???

When I was omi, I used to regularly watch a youtube channel called "Epic Meal Time", they not only use thousands of calories worth of meat in their concoctions, they also make an effort to use as little veggies as possible or none at all. (There's an episode where they order like 50 burgers from a fast food joint and specifically say "NO VEGETABLES")

These are all YOUNG men who LOOK healthy but I really have doubts they will live in perfect health if they continue that lifestyle as they age.

But anyway, even as an omni some of their food grossed me out. Now when I look back I just can't watch it. I feel physically ill.
