Every now and then I get this excruciating pain in my abdomen and my chest and I was told it's due to my diet. My doctor suggested taking Beano before I eat. I looked at the ingredients and it contains fish gelatin. Does anyone know of a vegan alternative?

yes, i believe that udo erasmus (the creator of "udo's oils" and the author of "fats that heal, fats that kill") makes a vegan enzyme similar to bean-o. you can check out his site here: www.udoerasmus.com

I was all ready to say something about cork being vegan, but stomach pain isn't that funny. I hope you feel better.

If you are in Canada, try Organika's Digestive Enzymes. They worked for me! They are vegan and they cut down on gas, bloating etc.
