I'm getting an IUD after this one. I want to ask my hubby if he'd get a vasectomy. I don't think he would agree.

Wow. I took Yasmin and ended up having to switch after 6 months because it gave me severe stomach pains. Every time I ate, I would be hunched over in a lot of pain. I stopped that pill and the pain went away within a few days (lasted for months). I would never try any form of that medication, didn't work for me. LoEstrin24 was the one that did long-term damage to my sex drive and I'm not the only one who reports that. Medications are scary.

I think an IUD is an excellent choice! A lot of people I've talked to love it and it was recently talked about in Women's Health mag (underrated birth control). You and your hubby are still young, who knows, you might end up crazy and wanting another kid I like that IUDs are safe and last a lonnnnng time. If in 10 years you're certain you want no more kids, you can have it removed and your hubby can get a vasectomy.

I have baby fever again! My husband has it worse than I do. We're trying to conceive. We tried last year, but then put it off this year b/c of a lot of stressful things happening in my family. Stress isn't really conducive to conceiving a child. So, now that things are a little less stressful, we are trying again.

I had a long talk with my boyfriend this weekend about having a baby. We talked about what it would be like; pregnancy, birth and parenting. We are thinking before I'm 30. I'll be 27 in a month...

I was really pleased to discover we are on the same page with so many things. He was the one that brought up a home birth, cloth diapers, etc. He doesn't like the idea of French immersion, but oh well... We'll see what schools are in our neighborhood when the time comes. He has a daughter who is 5, with someone he was never in love with.
I think we're both excited to experience the process with someone we love. I have a feeling it'll be totally different.

I am going to be taking a Doula certification in 2 weeks, probably as a direct result of my baby fever. Here's my thread about that: http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/s...08#post2514608
