Insect Bite ID help needed

I noticed you guys did a great job with someone elses bite. ok Im here in costa rica, so Im afriad of the bot fly. I noticed the other day I have a round lump under my right thigh, its about an inch wide wit hthe bite beign a bit smaller. heres a pic of the bite.

now I know Im in costa rica but I have been in the city for the past month and its unheard of to get bit by a bot fly here. thanks

Could be a bed bug bite or any number of things. Get ye to a doctor!

The picture is good, but doesn't ring a bell. Unless someone knows a dermatologist, who can look at the picture, you'll have to a dermatologist on your own; or even a GP. The advantage is: a local dermatologist (and to a degree also the GP) knows, what kind of bugs are around in Costa Rica.

Is it itchy? Does it sting? Does it throb? See a doctor for sure.

its notitchy and only soar it bothered. the problem with seeing a doctor down here is I dont know any spanish. and I dont get home till nov 5th.

How about telling the someone: Necesito un dermatólogo.
And telling the doc: Hay una picadura con inflammación en mi piel. Soy incierto si es una picadura de un insecto.
Or maybe the MD knows some English - most do nowadays.
