Yeah. I was being purposefully hyperbolic and mocking, but you might be entirely right that I fail to understand some of the nuance in conventional religion--especially when it comes to views on sex and femininity.

Thread closed due to the ongoing discussions of a sexually explicit nature that fall outside the realm of "PG-13" that is considered appropriate based on board rules.
If I may add: A lot of the discussion here became VERY confrontational, and borderline ad hominem. The thread got all kinds of crazy with people jumping all over each other, and making crude jokes. Add the explicit, detailed personal sex life stuff (I really didn't need to know that stuff. really), and there wasn't much that could be done to salvage it.
In the future:
Keep the personal bickering out of it.
Keep the dirty little details and crude language out of it.
Keep the deliberate thread derailing out of it.
