My diet sucks, maybe I am depressed.

I remember the days of running, eating healthy, and taking so much care of myself. Now, I have lost that for some reason and not for sure why. I find myself taking care of other people before me.(co-dependecy )

I used to run almost everyday, eat a ton a veggies, had a sleak body. Maybe I over did it and now I am in a slump. I just can not find the motivation anymore. I will stick to working out for a week, and then fall off the wagon again and give up. I know I feel so much better when I do workout, it is just getting me to that point.

I have been craving the worst high fat foods lately! I hate it. I have all the time in the world to cook right and workout, just not the energy or willpower anymore. I used to plan all my meals and always stuck to eating so darn healthy. I can not tell if I am just depressed or I if just need something to get me motivated back to my old self. Everything else in my life is fine and I really do not have nothing to complain about, just lost interest in putting my healthly lifestyle back to were it used to be. I have lost my appetite also, I mean for good food.

Allright all you non doc's and smart people. Shed some of your good wisdom. I need a butt kicking big time.

Have you been to a doctor lately? Get a complete physical and lab workup? Maybe there is something going on (don't mean to scare you) that could be the cause of this.

Yes, I worked in a doc's office and labs are fine.

Eat a banana (apparently they have anti-depressant properties). You can do something with the peel to make a hallucinogenic drug too but, um *cough*
    Vodka makes it all better.

Is that really true? If so, how come I never see anything in the media about banana abuse?

Like what? I am on a SSRI , but have been on and off of them through the years and never effected me as far as eating healthy and working out. Maybe I am missing a vitamin or something. I have no clue.

Bananas courtesy of the Jolly Roger
Believe it or not, bananas do contain a small quantity of
Musa Sapientum bananadine, which is a mild, short-lasting
psychedelic. There are much easier ways of getting high, but
the great advantage to this method is that bananas are legal.

    1) Obtain 15 lbs. of ripe yellow bananas.
    2) Peel all 15 lbs. and eat the fruit. Save the peels. 3) With a sharp knife, scrape off the insides of the peels and
    save the scraped material.
    4) Put all of the scraped material in a large pot and add
water. Boil for three to four hours until it has attained a
    solid paste consistency.
    5) Spread this paste on cookie sheets, and dry in an over for
about 20 minutes to a half hour. This will result in a fine
black powder. Makes about one pound of bananadine powder.
Ususally one will feel the effects of bananadine after smoking
    three or four cigarettes.
    Worth a try
    Vodka makes it all better.
