What happened to all the comments I had written about how it appeared vegan, but that their claim that it was "organic" was meaningless?
ShakaHara: Sanskrit for vegetarianism. Shaka=vegetable. Hara=consumption, eating. With perhaps a few exceptions, I think we should be able to live well, without animal husbandry. Both plants and animals need to be fed. Although peas are naturally carnivorous, they can be fed with green manures, turned in cover crops, and composted plant matter; animal matter is not needed.

Yes, in this product "organic" seems to be "original" not in the way of "certified organic".
Within a couple of years, misleading claims like this "organic" will be forbidden.

Ah. OK. Thank you 1vegan. Hmm. I tried to find that thread using the veggieboards search feature, but for some reason I didn't get lead to it.
