Slow Connection/TEXT BROWSER

I have a 56K connection. Web pages at this site are slow to load. So, I learned and am using a text only browsera t this site except when I have to post. it is faster this way.

The broswer is called Lynx. Google for more info.

hmmm, is this Lynx browser easy to que on and off ready for whenever you want it and for whichever sites you allocate to use for it ?.....

I mean hopefully as in easy to switch between browsers back to windows or whichever a person normally uses(??)...
I suppose you would just have the browser you are not using on some kind of standby-ish mode; considering that we'd likely be having both our regular browser and this in frequent use..

I use Linux. Have a fairly simple Distro. So I get just 3 different Browsers. Yes, very easy to switch browsers. Both or even all three can be used at the same time. The other browser that I have is called Dillo. Usually use Opera.
