I've never had a meatmare, but I did just have a dairymare! I dreamt that I went into Baskin Robbins and ordered a scoop of mint chocolate chip and a scoop of rocky road (I used to love this combo). Then I stopped and said to myself, hey, I can't eat this, it's ice cream and I walked out. So, due something I saw in another thread, I went to visit my daughter (for real, not a dream)and she has a wild oats near her. I bought a pint of soy delicious (the decadent kind) mint chocolate and mocha almond fudge. It was really really good!

Mine's not exactly a meatmare either, it's a woolmare. I dreamed I was watching an episode of Will & Grace (which I've never seen in my life), and Teller (from Penn & Teller) stepped out of the screen sporting a killer overcoat. I was like "cool threads man" and he was like "I got it at the Boeing factory" and I was like "hey I fly stealth bombers. can I buy it from you?" and he was like "no, but I'll trade it to you for that shotgun" (which was actually a baseball bat). So we traded and then I realized it was wool, but I wore it anyway.

I've had meatmares before (and cheesemares). Sometimes I'm just eating not realizing what I'm eating, and wake up making sure there's no meaty taste in my mouth. Other times I realize I'm dreaming so I eat it anyway only to wake up horrified (the first thought in my head is always "omg, I'm still vegan, right?"). After those I stay away from meat substitutes for awhile, out of guilt and disgust I guess...

    That's just........ bizarre...

I grew up vegetarian so doubt it's exactly anything I'd dream about.

I have dreamed about various aspects of veganism (buying vegan shampoo or leather shoes) but I haven't ever had "meat" related dreams... well... hmmm.... ...never mind....

I read this thread when I first joined a few weeks ago...and last night I had a meatmare (kind of)!

I dreamed I was at McDonald's (ick) with my mom, and she was making me order something. I kept saying 'there's nothing I can eat here, not even the fries, mom!' and she kept saying 'order something!' eventually she got really angry with me and started screaming, and I was crying and then it was over.

weird cause my mom is not like that at all...and I never even liked McDonald's.
