I get sad when rascal isn't cuddling with me where ever I'm sitting!!
and its weird sleeping when I spend the night at my sister's without him cuddled up on the bed against me!

The licking is grooming, and everyone needs to scratch when they feel an itch. I'd kick anyone who tried to stop me from scratching when I itch. (Obviously, I don't scratch myself when I'm in public. )

Yeah, more often than not, I'm the one sitting/lying on the floor, because all the chairs are taken. I don't like to disturb the kids when they're comfy - they have so little control over their lives anyway.

I'm always sad when I'm somewhere where there's not at least one animal cuddling with me. Fortunately, that's not a problem at my sister's; she has as may furry family members as I do.

Ha! To me, those photos are delightful and natural.

I'm all for that... but minus the fleas

My dog Chewy used to sleep in my bed, but it was a good thing when my guy came along and he was booted to the floor. It gave Chewy his own spot and I wasn't getting snapped at in the middle of the night for moving

I think my dog does it to groom and out of habit, it drives my guy nuts. She'll randomly just start licking her paws, then her bed, then the carpet, then the couch... she's an oddball I love her oddball mannerisms.

I agree I want Great Danes, they tend to sit on top of each other, it's hilarious.

Haha. Chewy needed to be booted, he was shedding all over my bed and waking me up at night (snapping when I moved). He actually liked his new bed, he stopped trying to jump up on my bed the second I put his own bed on the floor. He was a stinky dog, but very missed

I used the cushion suggestion and it worked well, but when I woke up, she had peed on the floor. The two aren't related, she's just been doing one thing after another. She gets walked at midnight, no excuses for her. That was accident #3. I wish I could afford a steam cleaner. The spots look like they're coming out, I hope the apartment manager doesn't charge us (if they black light the room, they'll see).
