The licking is grooming, and everyone needs to scratch when they feel an itch. I'd kick anyone who tried to stop me from scratching when I itch. (Obviously, I don't scratch myself when I'm in public.

Yeah, more often than not, I'm the one sitting/lying on the floor, because all the chairs are taken. I don't like to disturb the kids when they're comfy - they have so little control over their lives anyway.

I'm always sad when I'm somewhere where there's not at least one animal cuddling with me. Fortunately, that's not a problem at my sister's; she has as may furry family members as I do.
