Ok, I was confused then. I felt I should clarify anyway, since I am not trying to attack anyone. I should have worded my original post better.

I think it's very commendable that you have made a conscious decision to avoid those animal products. I hope you'll stick by your decision, even if you got a bad experience here. Don't take any of the comments in this thread the wrong way, they're not against you personally, they're just maintaining the board rules which exclude all animal flesh, not just mammals and birds.

I've actually stopped eating fish for separate reasons
I have no moral objections to them but just dislike the idea of dining on a carcass
