Yeah, how long has he been eating like that? I find it really hard to believe anyone could live off raw milk and eggs.

My brother got scarlet fever from unpasteurized milk. Hopefully your friend will change his diet before he gets sick.
    Beans. They're what's for dinner.

I know what that diet is called. It's WTFitarian.

"I think the world is a wonderful place. Life is worth living when you're on your bike and a breeze from the river lifts your skirt over your legs, and flower petals blow down and get stuck in your hair when you go by the graveyard. Or when you are so hot you could die, work sucked and you just hate everything, and you get home and your roommate gives you a homemade mint julep and fresh plantains with a little bit of sugar...
The world is always beautiful and filled with beautiful people. Even with all the ugliness I've seen, I refuse to believe that the world is an awful place."–– Kenickie

Yeah I've got issues with the diet, and I wouldn't try it myself :P But as far as nutrients go, it would seem to me that either dairy or eggs, raw, would contain every nutrient necessary to support a life. That is, after all, their purpose in the case of newborns or developing birds.

I wouldn't dare eat raw eggs from a conventional grocery store, knowing where they came from. But if the increased danger of bacteria can be accounted for, the yolk is healthier raw as the fats are less damaged.

As crazy as it is, I can find a lot more holes in the typical American diet (which is pure crap) than I can in this one.

Well, the life of a calf or baby chick you mean. Adults have different dietary needs, nevermind the fact that we're entirely different species! I mean neither has any fiber whatsoever, as well as tons of other stuff....but anyway, hopefully your friend will stop that diet and eat more healthfully.
    Vegetarian since 8/03 :)
