    Facial Cleanser for Males

I'm a new vegan, and I finally received an email back from the company which I buy face wash from (LabSeries) cannot guarantee all their products are vegan, nor do they offer a product list of which products are.

I'm just looking for a recommendation on a good face wash. Thanks!

My boyfriend really likes this Burt's Bees cleanser: click here Not all Burt's Bees products are vegan, but they are all pretty natural and at the very least vegetarian and not tested on animals. This particular cleanser looks vegan to me.

Do you have any particular skin-care needs? Oily, dry, etc?

Cleansers marketed to women are exactly the same as those marketed to men, find a cleanser marketed to either gender that smells good to you.
Sorry this wasn't very helpful :P the whole women's razors are pink and men's are black annoys me.

Make a paste of baking soda and water. Scrub it on your face. It will also exfoliate the dead skin cells. Its cheap. Its vegan. Its effective. And it doesn't create waste.

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

My skin is more sensitive than anything, it gets dry easily, and once its dry it will get oily throughout the day to offset the dryness.

I'm a guy and I have dry skin and use "Kiss My Face" soaps to wash. One large bar literally lasts almost a year. I splurge on a Jason vit e moisturizer.

I think vegans whom eat a lot of fruits and vegetables have great skin because of the antioxidants.

    Good luck.

Do you have any aversions to soap? I'm a soap maker so it won't surprise you that that's what I suggest. I'm also an esthetician though so you can trust me. If your skin is sensitive I would look for a castille or bastile. Look for handmade- commercial soaps are usually stripped of their glycerin and can be drying. You can find lots of good choices on Etsy.

You might find a light weight moisturizer used in the morning will help with the afternoon oiliness.

eta: Also for your sensitive skin avoid artificial fragrance and color. A nice soap for you might be infused with chamomile or calendula, left unscented or with a bit of lavender essential oil. An added benefit is you can use the same soap for your body so less products to worry with.

I agree that a moisturizer would be good after a cleanser. Since you're in Canada check out the Awaken My Senses line. It might look "girly", but I find it smells like plants and it's nice, clean stuff. I use their heavy-duty moisturizer for my dry skin and their eye cream and I love it.

Another line I respect (also Canadian) is Vada. They use only plant-based, food-grade ingredients. They have a line marketed to men, but their products are mostly unisex.

    Good luck!

I concur. If you can find an online list of vegan women's face cleansers use one of those.
