I'm having a party at my house a week from Friday and am looking forward to serving a vegetarian menu. Several of my friends have asked if I'm going to sneak them veggies like I do with my kids. I decided that I'm going to keep them in the dark.

It's strange to me that grown people are worried about vegetables.....I'd be more worried about bringing something nice to my wonderful hostess.

Well someone has to say it so I'll just get it out of the way- hummus. Hummus is the answer to every question.
Pigs in a blanket usually go over well. What American doesn't love a nostalgic pig in a blanket? I like to make them with halved veggie breakfast sausage links and crescent roll dough. A dip recommendation is salsa mixed with Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese and a can of green chilies.
You can probably guess I am such a gourmet, lol.
