I do mind, but i never say anything. Unless of course, they start on me.. then i'll tell them exactly what i think.

I feel that if i were to go on about vegetarianism all the time then people would be put off vegetarian people etc.

The idea that animals still suffer in factory farms, fur farms, circus's, etc saddens me immensly, but I also know that humans, for the most part, are not malicious people. A lot has to do with lack of education, how they were raised, enviroment, and culture.

That being the case I would rather provide an example of a healthy, kind person who happens to be vegan and not feeding the sterotype of activist vegans being crazy people.

I was a vegetarian for 5 years and vegan for just about 2 now, my mother has now adopted vegetarian meals during the week in her home, my husband is now vegetarian, my mother in law is vegetarian now and I have even had my omni friends come to vegan resturants with me. (AND ACTUALLY ENJOY IT )

Activist does not mean aggressive. The most effective activist (IMHO) is the calm, assertive, kind person who does not tell others they are "wrong" because that will only cause them to feel attacked and they will shut you out. They activist allows the person to make their own decision with the new information given to them. Most people, given the time, will adapt even just some things that will ease some suffering. Others will go all out and be vegetarian/vegan.

it's not just what you stand for, it is what you stand UP for.

    Kindest Regards,

Like so many people have said .... I do mine.... But I too don't got off spouting about it as I also like having friends who don't judge me.... so I try not to judge them (or at least keep it to myself).

However if anyone every asks me anything about veganism and why I am vegan then I use that as an opportunity to try and educate them as to why it is not ok. Most people are curious and will ask.... so I let them ask before telling them my reasons. That way I don't seem like I am preaching...
