My stupid brother has been ranting and raving about how plants and vegetation feel pain all week long! It is SO annoying! I keep saying, "Maybe you should put that same compassion towards the animals. At least they can display their pain and suffering.". To which he replies "I really don't care."
Arrrrghhhhh!! This boils my blood! And to talk about stupid!! Any good pointers on what I can say back?

I was watching Dr. Oz today and he was talking about how good tempeh was for you because of its B-vitamins. Then he takes a bite of it, looks disgusted, and spits it back out! He was eating plain tempeh, and now everyone who watches that show will think that tempeh is gross. I love tempeh, but you gotta treat it right, you know?

That's sometimes the case, as not all veggies know how to eat right. But most of the time, the people that say that are ridiculously overweight and scoffing a bucket of friend chicken. Makes me laugh.
