Hi, so when I run, this is the order, I do things in:

1.Warm up
2.stretch a little after warmup
3 Run
4. Cool down
5. Stretch a lot at end.

Would this be the same similar if I am working out with weights? Is it necessary to stretch both before and after lifting weights? Also, I get the warmup part with weights but is there such a thing as cool down?

Thanks!

You'll want to stretch after working out with weights. It'll help prevent the lactic acid build-up.

I stretch during and after exercise. When I run most of my stretching is after. Cycling I stretch after. Swimming after. Weight training during and after.

I usually stretch After Crunches and Running. I enjoy stretching because it does not strain my body and I feel great afterwards.

I stretch before and after any high intensity exercise.
I also stretch immediately after i wake up and before i go to bed but this is for a post-adult height gain program (although height gain after adulthood is strongly refuted).

Yes, this is exactly what I do, for both cardio and weights.

I'm not really sure about a cool down after weights, maybe a little light cardio or something. The main thing is to do longer stretches at the end of the workout.

PS. That's a really cute animal in your avatar - what is it?

for weight workouts I warm up with some cardio, I workout with weights and in between sets I stretch the body part I just worked. Then after I do a total body stretch.

Thanks :) It's a little fennec, a desert fox. But I think of it as the fox from the Little Prince book if you are familar with it.
