I've seen them there for a few years and am intriqued. But the staff are always too busy for me to approach with ingredient questions so I've never asked. Can't find the ingredients posted online anywhere either.

Has anyone looked this up?

Interesting, I didn't know they had veggie dogs!
I hope someone knows the answer. Would it be weird if I went to IKEA just for dinner? ;)

 we go to ikea for lunch sometimes on a weekend.

i'd rather pay $2 or so for chips and veggies, and actually get decent veggies (yellow carrots and peas in their pods!) on a groovy plastic plate and be able to have my choice of 3 soyamilk flavours with it, instead of paying a fortune for a rubbish iceberg lettuce salad, and the bf can have whatever grossness he wants without leaving the smell in our apt, for a very good price as well.

....and i can accidently get sucked into buying random novelty icecube trays and duvet covers while i'm there.

sneaky sneaky ikea with their cheap food and the lure of mysteriously named pretty things that cost a few bucks/quid each so you buy loads of them. :brood:

i wish they did veggiedogs in canada. they should.

and unfortunately i have no idea whats in them. but i would like to know.

I've got this terrible feeling Ikea veg hot dogs are made from leftover Poang chair packing materials mixed with shavings from those free pencils :(

that might explain why they're so cheap. maybe they come to the store flatpacked? do they taste foul?

I have no idea as I've never had the nerve to try one. Surely they must be better than the non veg ones?

Their food area was totally packed out when I visited the IKEA in Atlanta. I went on a weekend-- yikes! Got loads of furniture though :) and my bed!

maybe they're all made of cardboard and they just stick another label on half of them. or maybe the meat ones are made of customers that get lost in there and never find their way out before succumbing to the elements.

Hi! No idea what's in them, but they seem to taste like the original Ikea ones, just they're much shorter! If pencil shavings taste like that then I need to buy more pencils...or get the free ones from Ikea! You're in the UK, right? I had one in Belfast but didn't manage to get one in London because they ran out...in factthey ran out of EVERYTHING vegetarian. I had to buy a massive bag of crisps instead!

Sorry, I've no idea what is in the veggie hotdogs, but I don't see anything wrong with IKEA visits just for the food :) I used to take two buses all the way across town just for the cheap falafel!
