Stretching is just to prepare your muscles for exercise. Resistance exercises will help build muscles though. Using resistance bands. Though, if you want to build muscles faster, you can up the resistance, or start lifting weights. Just make sure you take it slow and stretch before and after every session.

Good Luck!!

P.S....as for the stability ball, this website has tons of exercises for it:

stretching and resistance are almost opposite when you think of it, but you need them both.

Stretching -> expansion of tissue
Resistance -> contraction of tissue.

To build muscle, resistance is what causes muscle fibres to contract. Eventually this leads to microtrauma due to the little fibres being damages and through protein synthesis the muscles fibres are rebuilt.

To build muscle, stretching before and after resistance will condition the fibres for contraction. This increases cellular volumization so there's a regulated blood flow and energy (ATP) for the muscles.
