21st of March isn't it?

I'm 99% sure I'm going and I can't wait. I've been to the London Vegan Festival and it was awesome! There were loads of interesting workshops, free food and lots of speciality items that are hard to find and usually a bit cheaper than in the shops.

The London one got very busy so I'd reccommend going early. Also it might be more helpful if a mod could move this thread to the UK forum, you're more likely to get more replies in there :)

I really want to go. I adore Brighton, it's an easy drive up there and I've never been with more than 2 vegetarians at any given time. If anyone lives in South East London and wants to hitch a ride with Hamry and I, let me know!

I went to the Bristol vegan fayre last year (organised by the same people) and that was pretty good. I spent a lot of time walking round trying the free food samples, and then walking round again and sampling them again (purely for research purposes, you understand :D). There were loads of different caterers as well, it was such a novelty being somewhere where I could choose from everything that was there and not have to scavenge for a vegan option (like just chips). Although in the evening when it turned into more of a music event I noticed quite a few people just eating chips - think they must have been omnis who had come for the music acts and were nervous of trying weird veeeegan food...

But yeah, Brighton looks good, plus the fact that Brighton is vegan capital of the universe anyway. If neither of the gig enquiries I've currently got for 21st March end up happening I might be there!

i'm pretty excited about Brighton vegan fayre,

spoke to my dad who was reminising about the clive palmer band - apparently clive was the founding member of the incredible string band who ever they were.

i want to hear macka b as don't know much ofhis work

looks like the very different acts will be attracting an interesting crowd...but then thats the vegan/veggie world!

i noticed there is going to be a new product showcase,

sounds wicked,

i know the samples and freebies are uber popular at the bristol show so now the latest and greatest products on the market are going to be tried and tested by the public...should be cooool, as i know i'm not gonna get ripped off
