Since I have to watch my sugar intake, I was excited to hear about 7-11's new diet pepsi slurpee. I don't use products with aspertame, and this slurpee is made out of Splenda (sucralose,) Erythritol (a common sugar alcohol,) and Tagatose (a non-nutrative sweetner.) However, after a little research (http://www.diabetesmonitor.com/tagatose.htm), I found the following:
"Scientifically known as D-tagatose, Tagatose occurs naturally in some dairy products and other foods. The patented production process starts from whey, a dairy by-product."
