Anyone else in the Dayton area? I'm in the Xenia area :) If anyone has any information about local places to eat (I know there's that one awesome place at the 2nd st. Market) Local events, etc, post them here! :D

little saigon (1718 Woodman) has some of the best veggie food I've had the world over...
It looks like a small hole in the wall... but the food... amazing...

Mmmm... yay Dayton! There's a GREAT little deli type place called the Greek Isle Deli at 5524 Airway Rd. They make an awesome falafel pita, and all their vegetarian items are designated on the menu with a leaf, and the prices are good, too! :-)

there's a new Thai place called Siam Pad Thai @ 3027 wilmington pike. Just about every entree can be made with only vegetable or with tofu.

My family and I just went to TJ Chumps for dinner, I had a great experience there. I had a salad (and without cheese would have been vegan, I am not vegan but I realize a lot of folks on here are), and I had the Portabella sandwich and waffle fries. My goodness it was great, It was a huge mushroom on a kaiser bun, with roasted red peppers, spinach, and blue cheese, I am sure one could ask for it vegan style. And our waitress was very accommodating when I asked what they fried the waffle fries in (Canola Oil). Overall a great eating out experience.
And afterward I got to go play Skee Ball (I am such a nerd).
