I'm going to be in DC in the first week of December and I'm wondering how much to pack. I'm coming from Southern California and never spend a winter anywhere that's too cold so I don't know what to expect even through I read the average temperatures are somewhere between 50 something to 30 something. I don't want to bring too much as I will not be checking in any luggages (or maybe I should?).
