I'm so ridiculously excited! For once, I can actually eat Thanksgiving dinner with my family. They've decided to go meatless this year! We're having veggie sushi, veggie chilli, mashed sweet potatoes, a veggie tray, a fried onion, some sort of weird bread thing, tiramisu, and cheesecake. Not traditional in the least, but it's a buch of our favorite foods. I'm just so happy that my family has decided to skip the dead bird and I didn't even have to say anything. ^-^ I guess I really have something to be thankful for this year, huh?

I'm glad you're having a meatless Thanksgiving. :)

I'll actually be vacationing with my family this year, but we're going to have Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant with a buffet, which will make things super easy for me. I can just fill my plate with whatever's appropriate and not have to worry about annoying anyone by skipping out on Grandma's famous turkey or whatever. :)

Wow!! That's so incredible! :) Once I take over Thangsgiving it will be meatless but probably not until then. For now though everything that used to be covered in bacon fat, butter, gravy etc. is all made vegetarian/ vegan. Our Thanksgivings have come a long way so it's a start. Congrats on having a fantastic meatless Thanksgiving :)

That is great news!

So far my fiance is going to share in a tofurky and mostly vegan thanksgiving dinner. He wants a green bean casserole and if that is the only thing animal related on thanksgiving I will be more then happy to have it! I was so happy when he decided to forgo the ham or meat of his choice. :)

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ON THIS FORUM!!!

If it wasn't for all of you I wouldn't have any idea of what to do this thanksgiving. You helped me find recipes, judge recipes, and overall just figure out how to DEAL with the entire situation!!!

You guys are angels to me this week lol
