Hey Everyone!
I've only just started posting on this forum recently, and for all I know this topic might have been discussed before. Sorry if it has, but I didn't think it would hurt.
I have many tattoos over my body and was doing a bit of research into my next one when I stumbled across a few pages talking about vegan tattoos. I'm a little bit horrified to find out the majority of ink contains charred animal bones and at the least glycerine! :spew:
Ink does not have to show an ingredient list so I'd advise anyone thinking about it to ask a lot of questions. There are some very good vegan tattooists out there, and they generally make their own ink.
It kinda sucks that I don't eat animals, but potentially have them engraved into my flesh! I feel kinda slow that I didn't even consider tattoos to be non vegan.
