I bought supplements for hair growth and it's called Hair, Skin & Nails for Men (Futurebiotics) and want to know what is the most BIOTIN an adult (24 years old) should take per day? According to it, it says 400 mcg daily, and plus I eat eggs probably 2 times a week which also contains biotin and other foods that contain probably less than the eggs so that would add more mcg daily---- an average person would still take more biotin than me cause they eat red meat (which I don't) and other foods I don't. I heard that if you take too much biotin that it will not help the hair growth more and faster like it's suppose to.

There's disagreement amongst the medical profession about the RDA. It ranges from 100mcg-500mcg. Higher doses have been given without toxicity apparently so I wouldn't be too concerned about going for the upper range.

But, just be aware that there is no solid evidence that Biotin helps with hair loss.

I worked at a health food store and people were crazy about the supplement Enzymatic hair and skin nutrition. It seemed to work really well for people, and its reasonably priced.
