Hi, I live in California and I've been transitioning into vegan for the pass six months and I would love to get my two pups on a vegan diet as well. All I can find on the market so far is Avoderm which has a vegetarian recipe but I would rather purchase from a company that is stricly vegan. Plus if you know of any extra supplements to ensure healthy doggies.
thanks!

There's a lot of debate about this on the boards. Are you looking for information on keeping them healthy or just a brand name? If you do a search for 'vegan dogs', a bunch of threads will pop up.

No problem. :)
If I came off as 'there's too many of these threads stop making them!', I didn't mean it that way at all. I just don't have an answer for you, and knew you could probably find one in the older threads. :)

Natural Balance carries a premium dog food with alternative protein sources that make up a complete diet for dogs. It isnt very healthy for the dogs to make the change too fast though, and the dog food should be mixed with what you currently feed for about a month in order to help the dog's system get used to no longer having meat protein. Natural Balance also just so happens to be one of the best foods on the market. The one Im talking about is Natural Balance Vegetarian in the green bag. I am a manager at a Petco, so I research the merchandise a lot. I mean a lot a lot!
