What are you giving out for Halloween?

Ok, either I'm blind or we've somehow managed to overlook this major topic until now!

We're giving out small cans of Play-Doh, bouncy balls that look like eyeballs, and whatever I happen to pick up at Sam's - probably something like Goldfish crackers. We'll probably try to avoid candy. Each kid will get one of each.

I think we've averaged around 15-20 trick or treater's the last couple years.

I'm not sure we'll get any trick or treaters. HB's working overtime and I'm going to the shelter after work to serve food but I've got a bag of Bones suckers at home just in case. I Boo-ed the neighbors next to us that had kids already because I knew we might not be home. I included vegan cookies, dum dum ghost suckers, glow necklaces, crayons, and jewelry making kits in the baskets.

I'm giving 5" long Chick-o-stix and Charms Sweet 'n Sour lollipops. One of each to each goblin who rings the bell!

my mother in law was in charge of the candy and we don't get many kids out here in the boonies so each kid got a treat bag full of assorted candies chips and chocolate bars

I gave out Dum-Dum and Smarties, I had about a total of 300 pieceseach goblin got 2, I ran out in just under 2 hours.....

Just seems like no one gets very many trick or treaters anymore. :confused:

We got hoards of trick or treaters. I went through 2 huge bags of candy, mainly consisting of lollipops, smarties, nerds, etc.

I bought like 200 candies to hand out, because in my old neighbourhood (in a different city) that is how many we needed.
I think I got MAYBE 20 kinds to my door all night... so now I have a HUGE overflowing bin of candy...

Me who is attempting to lose weight, and with the biggest sweet tooth in the world.... not a good combo!! I'll have to give them away at work or something :/

That's what we did at my old job! We brought our halloween candy and put it in a bowl and left them in the break room with a sign "Take all you want!"

Happy Belated Halloween Everyone...

We Gave out Tootsie Pops and Goldfish Crackers...I usually give out the individual packs of M&Ms but stopped when I found out they tested on animals...we didnt have that mny trick or treaters...but the ones we had were polite and said thanx.:)
