My bf and I have been pretty broke since we recently moved, but we think it is improtant to take time and a little money to go on dates at least weekly. We have been going to the park for picinics and going to the dollar movie and free community events.
I am just wondering what everyone else does for cheap entertainment? I need ideas :P

my bf and i enjoy going out "picking", we ride our bikes around the neighborhood and pick fruit. there is also an apple orchard near us called oak glen, we go up there once a year around this time and pick apples. it is nice to make something sweet when we get home to share...
we play tennis or basketball at the local school on sundays. our other favorite thing to do together is going to swap meets, flea markets, yard sales, and thrift stores, doesn't sound too romantic but it is thrilling when we find neat old stuff.

We did the flea market thing a while back and it was fun. I had forgotten about that, I am glad you mentioned it. I think we might go this weekend.

I'm not big on "going out". I like cooking together, watching movies, playing board games, fiddling around with some project around the house that needs doing....whatever.

My husband and I like to go hiking. It's good for quiet alone time.

Not sure where you are, and these might sound lame too, but we'll sometimes go to the main library and check out movies, since they are free there.
We'll also hit up the museums.

My boyfriend and I had a GREAT day out at a free museum.
Picnics are cool if you have anywhere good to go.
Mostly, though, we just cook together, and then put a good film on, snuggle, and drink some wine. :)
