Need WARM men's socks for my bro.

Hi all!

My brother's feet are always cold... I thought it might be nice to get him some comfy warm socks. :-) The thing is I don't want to buy socks made with wool, cashmere, silk, the usual non-vegan culprits.

Any suggestions for really comfy warm socks? Style isn't hugely important; mainly they need to be warm.

I have explorers, but I don't know what they're made from. They're pretty old, but still in great condition. You'd have to look further into it though, they mention "With their unique two layer construction, Holeproof Explorer offers wool or cotton on the inside for comfort with nylon on the outside for long lasting wear." Also they're Australian socks, and I'm not sure if they're available overseas. :)
