I love crazy cats! :D These look so much like ours. I agree with the "leave a little water in the sink" if you don't want them in there. Ours like the tub but scram when the water is turned on. :)

How about giving them a nice little place to perch on, just for them? My kitty has a perch near the window and will hang out there all the time.

Make it appealing. Provide catnip and lots of toys and praise when they hang out where you want them to. :)

There's whole web site dedicated to pictures of cats in sinks.

You could try putting a nice fluffy towel in there to make it more comfy and appealing. Cats like to avoid your efforts at making them cozy and find an annoying location instead.
