I just got my second tattoo done coule of days ago. Immediately that night I started getting sick (soar throat and coughing). I doubt there is any coorelation between the two events; nevertheless, I'm curious as to whether any of you know if there could be a connection. Does the tattooing process freak out your immune system or something? haha

The only other person I know who is sick is my therapist who I saw earlier that day but I never touched her or anything....hmmm

Also, any tips on how to kick it fast? I have a schedule busier than I can imagine and no time to be sick! I've been taking lots of vitamin C, and some immune defense supplements as well as eating lots of fresh fruits and veggies, resting, drinking hot tea, and LOTS of water.

~Peace~

that is a kinda fast incubation period for a cold. i've been led to beleive that normally its a few days between being exposed, and feeling ill, not under a day. i think perhaps you were just gonna get it, tattoo or not, and you got your cold somewhere else entirely- not from your therapist (handling money or a doorknob or a phone that someone with a cold touched, breathing in air that someone coughed into a while earlier, etc). colds are sneaky like that- they float about on surfaces and in the air for a fair bit- you don't have to snog anyone who has one to get it.

sounds like you're doing all the right stuff for your cold. :)
