I heard what I hope is not a rumor... that you can use other store's ads at Walmart and they will give you the price that is advertised in the other circular. Is this true? I was thinking this would save me a lot of gas from running from one place to another.

Does any other stores offer this same policy?

Thanks!

P.S. I know some people hate Walmart, but it is so much cheaper and right now what I can afford.

yup, it's true. A good thing to know though is that they don't compete with their own prices that they advertise on their website. If a price is listed on their website, it's only the price if you order it from the website. If you go in and ask for the website price, they won't give it to you.

Yep. As CodeMonkey said, Walmart is great about price matching. I've been using that for years. It does save the time and gas of running around trying to get the best deals. I've even used it when getting tires for my car. It doesn't hurt to ask other places if they will price match. The Kmart in town won't do it, but I am not sure if that is a national policy or just our local store's policy.
