I've read the thread about veg*n friendly places in Austin (http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=85799), but wanted to know what spots I should ABSOLUTELY NOT MISS! We will only be there from Saturday morning to late Sunday, so time will be stretched. We have the bakery Dhaba Joy on the agenda, but that's all that's set in stone other than the comedy show, so any tips? It will be me and two of my best friends... one of which is getting married in a month so this is also doubling as a bachelorette weekend kinda thing. Tips appreciated!

you're right to hit up Dhaba Joy. i can't control myself there. There's a handful of good veggie places...but I can't remember the names of the ones I like. I say just eat sweets at Dhaba all weekend :)

Awww apparently Dhaba Joy shut down last week. I called for directions and the lady at the Toy Shop said they closed for good. Missed them by thiiiiiis much!!
