Most of their boxed food is vegan (if not all of it), and I think it's pretty darn good.

So far I've tried the red beans and rice, jambalaya, and dirty rice.

The red beans and rice was pretty good although something in it had a sort of chocolatey taste.

The jambalaya and dirty rice are both really, really good, and easy to make. It's good to add extra cajun spices to it while it's cooking, to give it more of a kick.

I haven't tried adding any veggie dogs to it, but I imagine it would go great with it, and would be a meal in itself.

Hmm I always overlook those in the store. Thanks for the advice. I will give it a try.

We eat this at my house. We add the Morningstar Farms Chik'n Strips. But MF/Boca/etc are so expensive lately, I haven't been buying them very much at all.

I like them a lot, I can't remember the exact ones I've tried, though.

I rarely used boxed mixes, but these are a good stand-by once in a while.
I add the Field Roast spicy sausage (chorizo I think?) and some sauteed red bell pepper chunks - it makes these mixes just insanely good.

I try to stay clear of things like MSG and silicon dioxide. :-/

Some of these are really easy, though. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0FDE/is_3_23/ai_n6140645

I never had these cause I assumed there was lard in it, as so much stuff down here does... neat!
