Hi, I'm a high school student and a staff member of the yearbook/newspaper at my school. Recetly, the editor and other members of the newspaper found out that I was vegan(I go to a small private school in a pretty small town in Alabama, so this is a big deal) and the editor thought it would be cool if I wrote an article about veganism/vegetarianism and Thanksgiving for the fall issue.

I thought this would great oppurtunity to educate people about this lifestyle and tell them about some delicious vegan foods. I've already thought of some things to include in the article, but you all have great taste and so I thought I would ask about suggestions. What are some vegan foods you all enjoy for Thanksgiving that I need to make sure and metion?

Cranberry sauce! It is NOT Thanksgiving if you don't have cranberry sauce. Last thanksgiving was my first veg thanksgiving (thankgiving before was the last time I ever ate meat) so I don't have much experience. Good luck, though.

you might also mention the option of "adopting" a turkey from the farm sanctuary.

You can never go wrong with pumpkin pie <3

I also typically make pumpkin muffins during the holidays. Tofurkey, however, I am convinced is a gift from <insert magic OMG force here>!
