I live in riverside county and wouldnt mind meeting up in orange county!!

looks like a lot of people in the Inland Empire/OC area. I'm in Santa Monica myself, but I'll drive east/south if that's where the meetup is.

Maybe an excursion to Disneyland for everyone? Heather, you need to tell the rest of us what we can eat there. :think:

If anybody wants to have a meetup in the Los Angeles area, there are lots of restaurants to choose from. If you want to try Ethiopian food, it's like Indian food; it's not ALL vegetarian, but there's a good bit of it that's not only vegetarian, but vegan. On Fairfax, there is a section called Little Ethiopia because of the large number of Ethiopian restaurants clustered together. Here is one of them: http://www.rahelveggiecuisine.com/

I've never been to that one, but I've been a couple times to another one in the area, and Ethiopian food is worth trying. It's a suggestion for a possible meetup location. :sunny:

There are quite a few Ethiopian restaurants on Fairfax. I'm gonna try to go over there sometime in the next week and check 'em out. I know one of them has a banner out front advertising a vegetarian buffet. Stay tuned. :up:

My sister went to a place called Zinc Cafe in Corona Del Mar yesterday and she said it was awesome. It's far for everyone, but we can make a day out of it :)

If anyone wants to head to MY neck o' the woods, I've been wanting to try Madeleine Bistro in Tarzana. The first vegan French restaurant I ever heard of. It's a little upscale, so dress nicely, please. :D

Anyway, somebody suggested early April for a meetup. I do want to point out that the 12th of April is Easter Sunday, so obviously that day isn't a good time, unless you'd rather go to a vegan restaurant with your Veggieboards buds than sit around a dining room table having to listen to a family member or relative boast about how juicy the Easter ham is this year... :think:

I am happy to drive anywhere (and dress up if need be!)
I don't think that I am doing anything on Easter (I'd have to check on that.) So I would be alright with that day.
I generally work on the weekends, but I am off fairly early. So dinner would be best for me (or a month in advance heads up and I can switch my regular shifts.)
I am really looking forward to this!
