The Dog Lovers Thread

I've been known to quote the sage who came up with the following "Cats Rule and Dogs Drool". But I was never truly serious about it. :shy: I don't have a dog, but I love dogs as much as cats and being a dog-mama is a goal of mine. I don't know if it will ever happen, but it would be great if it did. :nana:

So, since there's a cat lovers thread, I thought I'd give the dog lovers equal time to post pics of their cutie widdle puppydogs and talk about those wet noses, tongue baths, chewed-up slippers, and adoring gazes. Have at it! Woof! :bobo:

I once saw a book. It's title..."Cat Spelled Backwards Doesn't Spell God". Thought it was lovely :D Cody is Female/Kelpie+Shepherd X /almost 10
She's a real character. She:

howls with my father
loves to play golf [her version of 'fetch']
bark at [with] us and play fight
steal food from everyone except me since I never have anything 'good', though she doesn't mind vegieburgers
barge in on you if you're in the bathroom and haven't closed the door fully
makes noises just like chewbacca
knows how to use pillows and cushions, and has taken on the nickname 'ergo' because she will always rest herself on anything, to make herself more comfortable. People, shelves, cupboards, lounges...
goes off her head if you say 'seeya' or 'bye'
is an indoors dog
eats cat food. Supermarket employees often comment on how lucky our 'cat' must be :o


Without meaning to sound oferly mushy...She kinda feels like a soulmate. Just, one who can't speak English :D Here are a couple of photos of her boating, taking it easy at home, and me groping her. She liked it. I look forward to seeing everyone's dogs.:hi:

This my baby! I can't imagine life without her. She's a black lab/German Shepherd mix (possibly other mixes too). Can you believe a dog this cute was in a shelter her whole life until we found her at age six months?? I don't know how it's possible! :) Look at that face!
