I was wondering if anyone knew of a place I can buy a nice vegan coat/jacket? I have searched online for the past week and can't find anything. I browsed the local mall and just about everything was wool or leather. I did find some really nice vegan boots by Chinese Laundry. Now I just need a nice coat to go with them. Winter will be here soon and I don't want to freeze!

I have one from Lands End that contains no animal products. It's nice and warm and they have a lifetime warranty on everything.

I would have looked for a nice all-cloth zippered parka. Finding something not made with near slave labor conditions might be hard. Why not try fleece, like a north face mountain climbing coat or something-- I hear they are light weight, wick moisture, and are very warm-- also made with man made materials.

I've been having a hard time with that too. I've found a couple of nice ones looking on Guess's Website (http://www.guess.com).

There's a really pretty one at Bluefly from Via Spiga -- black faux shearling, all man made materials. I'll share the link with you now that I've got mine
