I think this is the right place :)
So what's your favorite activity/exercise??
I personally prefer playing basketball and cycling. It keeps me busier than walking or running IMO.
What's yours?

Cycling, yoga and pushups are favorites of mine. :)
Are you more into street cycling or trail riding?

Dancing. Hands down winner.
The best kind of dancing for me is to be at an event/party with a live Dj and killer music (preferably breaks, dnb or funky electo.) When I dance at a place like that, I dance my pants off. It's better cardio than running, and it feels sooooo goooood.
I just slip into that flow state where there are no thoughts, and it's a kind of meditation and prayer as well as being an intense form of exercise.

Most definitely trail. I'm still horribly out of shape (I'm working on it though!). People around here drive so erratically that I honestly couldn't save myself if I had to. Plus, the view is generally beautiful on the trail. We have an intercity trail here that goes through the entire town that go from park to park. That's where I spend most of my time :D

I don't get out much, however, so for me it's usually a nice brisk 2-3 hour walk in the early morning, just as the sun is coming up. :sunny:
Edit: Uh, that would be 2-3 mile walk, not hour! I wish!

Lol, 2-3 hour walk before the sun rises? I was thinking jeeze you are dedicated.:p
I really want to start running but I'm worried about the embarassment factor of running in the streets and the murder factor of running alone in the park near me.

Seems so. Brandon, is that running-from-the-law running or what?
I'm jealous of anyone who can run regularly and for distance. I have knee problems... My fave exercise: Tennis, tennis, golf, tennis, golf, bike urbex, and shooting hoops.

He must be!
Yeah because of my past weight problems I have bad knee problems...and back problems at that. So I rely on my bicycle. As I'm losing weight, I'm playing basketball more. I used to LOVE basketball.
I'm so out of practice :(

I forgot to mention Yoga.
It's dancing, then yoga (which I just did). I danced around for about 45 mins to get all nice and warm, and then did yoga for about an hour. All to good tunes.
Heaven.

I love yoga, too. Well, I should say I love checking out the ladies at the yoga class... But the yoga is good, too. :)

I've never played the Wii Fit. I've heard people rave about it though...
What all does it entail?
(sorry...I'm so out of the loop!)

Well, Ive got to run to keep from hiding,
And Im bound to keep on riding running.
And Ive got one more silver dollar,
But Im not gonna let them catch me, no,
Not gonna let em catch the midnight rider runner.
And I dont own the clothes Im wearing,
And the road goes on forever,
And Ive got one more silver dollar,
But Im not gonna let them catch me, no
Not gonna let em catch the midnight rider.
:p
I've actually been wanting to get into tennis. I have a racket, and the necessary equipment (didn't want to say "balls" and set DM's mind further in motion  ), I just haven't managed to get out to the court and play yet.

I have a footing issue (I'm sooo graceful). I could NEVER see myself playing tennis lol. Even playing Wii Tennis I trip all over the place...and you don't really move your feet o_0

Nothing funnier than "knockin some balls around" eh? :p Tennis is a blast, I think. It's as much fun to me as is golf, and notably less frustrating.

I like playing golf. I suck horribly but I enjoy when I do. I also like just going to a driving range. Great way to relieve some frustration!
Would bowling fit into the context of this thread?

Well technically because it's an "activity" :p

Sure, as long as you use big manly balls. :p But really, isn't any exercise you get more than canceled-out by the fried food and beer?
And I agree about golf and the practice range. And it's great fun with friends - hanging out and playing golf...

Well dang... I was gonna say softball, but the beer/activity ratio definitely disqualifies me.
