We go through quite a few Clif Bars and were used to paying just over $1 (sometimes had to order boxes online to get that price). Our local Target stores recently dropped the price to 89 cents. And one target had them temporarily marked down even further (79 cents I think). Only drawback is there's a limited selection. I remember chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter crunch, black cherry, fudge brownie, and maybe one or two more. Just be sure to buy the individual bars, the boxes of 6 are more expensive per bar ($5.49).

Thanks for the tip, my daughter eats them at swim meets.

I've also seen them at Costco for pretty cheap ($20 for a box of 24 bars). If your Costco carries them, and you have a membership, that's a good way to get them for under a buck pretty easily.

We were getting something like that at Sam's but it was a box of 3 different flavors - 2/3 had chocolate, which I don't mind, but Mandy doesn't like chocolate. And she's been eating more of them than I have. By buying them at Target she's able to get more of the flavors she likes.
Good tip for others though. I think that's about the same price they are at Sam's. Their variety box has chocolate chip, fudge brownie, and peanut butter crunch.
