Is anyone going?

Saturdays are always a mess for me. I wish they'd hold it on Sundays :P

I was considering going. Has anyone been to it before?

We just got back from the Expo. We spent about 3 to 4 hours there and it was fairly busy the entire time.

There were lots of exhibitors for animal rescues

The only thing that bugged me was the VegNews table. They were giving out free copies of the their latest issue and I just bought it last night at Borders! Oh, well...I still filled out a subscription card and got a free tote bag.

I got a lot of info from the Gentle World table (vegan resource) and the Vegetarian Journal table.

We spoke a little with a Greyhound rescue outfit (and spent some time petting the "big sweeties").

We tasted and ended up buying some great vegan cookies.

Anyway, we brought home a bunch of literature to pour over this weekend.

All in all, it was a very good day.

It sounds like it was a lot of animal welfare groups and more emphasis on that than I had thought. I hope they have one next year as I definitely hope to go.
