I am trying to incorporate an exercise program into my day and I'm having a hard time fitting it in. Do you exercise morning, evening or lunchtime?

I usually do morning :) It's cooler out, which is nice. I can also work out before my normal morning shower, so I'm not wasting time and water with multiple showers in a day.

Morning usually works best for me, before work, class, meetings and appointments.
I'm into Pilates, Yoga and Aqua exercise. I'm going to get back into weight training soon too.

Mornings or evenings... depends on my work schedule.
Mornings are usually the best.. it gives you the energy you need for the day. And it definitely helps to keep it out of the way and done with in case something else comes up later.

I try to get in my routine before lunch but it doesn't always work out that way. I just have more energy in the morning.

mornings definitely! i need to do kid/housework/food prep stuff later. i cannot exercise in the evenings as i have kid stuff and it would prevent me from sleeping well. i am happy happy happy and in my favorite place when i am at the gym in the morning!!!
make an appointment in your schedule in the morning to work out and keep it, just as you would any other daily appt.!!!

I work nights, so I usually go in the afternoon, maybe and hour or so after I've gotten up. I've tried exercising after work, but it gets me too pumped up and then I can't sleep. I usually walk or ride a bike.

Yoga in the early morning, running in the late afternoon (sometimes at lunch).

If you ride a bicycle to work, and your commute is a sufficient distance you can get a decent work out on your way to work and on your home from work. This way your exercise becomes part of your routine for getting to work and home.

About 10pm, usually; I don't have time in the mornings. The only problem is that if I get too carried away and puffed out it's difficult to get to sleep for quite a long time afterwards.

Right after work. I have a snack around 3:30 and start my workouts around 5:15. I can't lift nearly as well (weight AND form) in the early morning as I can in the afternoon.
And, it's great stress relief after work. :)

During the week I exercise after work - normally 5:30pm-ish.
At the weekends if I'm up for it I prefer early mornings :)

I hike with my dogs for an hour every morning in the hills, I usually do the elliptical for another hour at the gym at night if time permits.

I exercise about an hour after dinner. I try to alternate running at the park or aerobics in front of the tube. When life gets in the way, I push back to after bed times, around 11:00.

I just spent my vacation with two labs. Running with one of the dogs was great fun.

I normally work out in the evenings, 5:30-8:00. Because I take showers at night, it saves water so I'm not taking multiple showers during the day. Also, it helps tire me out so I can sleep more restfully! =]

Wow so many morning people!
I can't exercise in the morning. First of all I have a hard enough time getting up on time as it is  Second of all I can't workout on an empty stomach or right after eating. So when I actually did exercise regularly (I haven't for a couple of months), I would go after work but before dinner. I'd have a snack about half hour before I went - a Larabar or a piece of fruit or something - just enough to give me some energy.

I work out with a friend so the best time for us right now is the evening, though we are going to try to go from 12-2 probably in the next month as my shifts now don't end until 6, and since bother her kids are in school all day she wants to try to free up her evenings to spend family time.

I must have really wierd exercise habits; I can't believe how many of you work out in the morning! I'm just not a morning person, there's no way I could work out in the am. I usually end up running on the treadmill at 10 or 11 pm. It doesn't work so well when I have to get up for school the next morning, but oh well...

I work out first thing in the morning. Usually wake up at 6am to go for a run. If I don't do it first thing in the morning it won't get done.

When I work out during the week, I always work out in the morning. I hate coming home at night and knowing that I still have to work out. I'd much rather relax.
On the weekends, I sometimes do it in the morning, but also often do it in the late afternoon, just before dinner.

I work out in the afternoons - I stop at the gym on my way home from work. Three years ago I had to do morning workouts because road construction on my way home caused severe delays in the commute home. I am not a morning exercise person so this almost did me in - I was very glad when I could switch back to my afternoon time.
I also try to incorporate as much activity as possible into my day - taking the stairs instead of the elevator, walking to a colleague's desk rather than calling them, refilling my water bottle often so I have to walk to the kitchen more.
