We eat M&M Meat Veggie burgers available in Canada. A meat shop seemed a strange place to find a veggie burger so I inquired about its suitability to vegan diets. Here is the response I got back

Thank you for taking the time to contact us at M&M Meat Shops with your inquiry. I apologize for the delay in responding but I needed to contact our supplier for the information. Our Veggie Burgers do not contain any animal by-products and are suitable for vegan diets. The source of the natural flavour is vegetable based.

Thank you for shopping the M&M way.

Wow.. I never would have figured that M & M would have veggie burgers... especially vegan burgers. I still don't know that I'll shop there though..

Cool! I buy frozen veg (in the winter) and fruit there, so I'll try them.

Oh and they are sooooooooooooooooo Goood!

I loved those even before I became a veggie.
:hungry:

I need to go get more of them..and their veggie egg rolls are good (but doubt they are vegan)

Mmm...the M&M Meats veggie burgers are good, but I do feel weird buying from a meatshop. But I suppose that it is no different than buying burgers from the grocery store. Now that I know that they are vegan, I think that I might pick some up on the weekend.

I was at M&M Meats on Sunday with Chris and the woman read the ingredients to me and they do contain eggs. Maybe they're different throughout Canada... I dunno.
