Found these at whole foods the other day, was wondering if anyone knew for certain if they are vegan. Seems to be.

Can you post the ingredient list? We can all look it over and double check for you.

A lot of their products are, but not all. Just check the box. Health Valley doesn't include any weird, chemical ingredients so there won't be any if-y stuff in there. Unless the package directly states that whey or honey is contained within, rest assured it's vegan.

They make great granola and cereal bars too. The chewy apricot granola bars and date bakes are vegan and very tasty. Fat-free too.

Chewy peanut butter is vegan, as well. (and a small addiction of mine)

Health Valley uses honey a lot.

The honey usage is usually the only thing that makes their products non-vegan. But, if you check out the ingredients lists there are some items that use only evaporated cane juice as a sweetner (See the items listed in previous posts including the peanut butter granola bars). Most of the cereal bars and all of the Cafe Delights (I think that's what they call them) are not vegan. The cookies and crackers are a 50/50 mix. But, at least you'll never have to worry about "hidden" ingredients with Health Valley. Everything is clearly listed and understandable.

I'm pretty sure that their oreo-style cookies are vegan. And way too yummy!!! :hungry:

wow this is really cool
I always just assumed all cookies other than my fav Dad oatmeal which i resently had the pleasure of discovering are vegan, were non-vegan since eggs and milk ingredients are such staple ingredients in commercial cookies. now if only someone would make a vegan arrowroot cookie......

I bought these a while back, but we prefer Newman O's - esp. the chocolate ones (and they are vegan too :) )

The Newman's Os do rock. Anyone who lives near a Wild Oats might also consider buying the store brand vanilla sandwich cookies. They are vegan and look relatively unassuming, but don't let that fool you, they are so good. And cheap, too, you get a huge box for about $3.

I absolutely adore Health Valley's Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies. They're vegan, too. I should have gotten some when I was at the hfs earlier today. Maybe next week. I want some really bad now. :hungry:

Quizeen, I'll have to consider picking up some of those vanilla sandwich cookies, too. I love sandwich cookies.
